Hang onto your hat! De Beque Becomes Tumbleweed’s Seventh Location
True to form, we opened our seventh dispensary on 4/20/18. Located in De Beque, Colo. a line formed out the door that morning with people excited to say “Howdy, partner!” to the friendly faces at our newest location. As with every other Tumbleweed, it’s our extensive selection that really sets us apart. In fact, we carry more than 60 different strains and hundreds of products, from gummies and drinks to chocolates and topicals.
“Nobody has as much product as we have,” says our CEO Mark Smith.
Stephanie Bennett of KJCT8 news, an ABC affiliate out of Grand Junction, covered the grand opening, taking the time to talk to both locals and visitors inside the store for the big day. Local caregiver Mary Lou Doak talked about how since the gentleman she takes care of began taking medical marijuana, he’d had “hardly any incidents of this dizzy-nausea problem he has, and its relieved a lot of his pain as well.”
Customer Becky Himmelspach, who traveled from Minnesota, said she’s waiting for her state to “legalize it so people can take advantage of it.” Our fingers are crossed for you, Becky, but until then, we’re happy to serve you and anyone else who wants to mosey on in.
Along with our location in De Beque, we have six other convenient locations along the I-70 corridor, including Carbondale, Edwards, Avon and Frisco. And in Parachute, we have a dispensary as well as our drive-thru dispensary (Colorado’s first ever!). We opened the Tumbleweed Express Drive-Thru on 4/20/17 (do you sense a theme?) in a former carwash to add another level of convenience for our customers.
